How quickly can I get an appointment?

It depends on how urgently you require dental care. Give us a call in the first instance and we’ll be able to advise you of the next available appointment.

Can I transfer from my current dental practice to you? How do I do that?

Our reception team will be able to advise you as to how to register with us. Please get in touch.

How do you support nervous patients?

We are extremely supportive of nervous patients. Our staff have had full training in how to best support dental anxiety and we offer sedation for many of our procedures to help you relax.

Will I need to book an initial appointment after registering with you?

Your initial appointment is your chance to meet your new dentist, and a chance for us to get to know your mouth. During this first meeting, we’ll carry out a full oral examination, discuss any concerns you may have and look for plaque; a major contributing factor to teeth and gum problems. We’ll assess the health of your teeth, gums, and bite, with a view to to advising you on any clinical treatment that may be required in order to maintain a healthy mouth. Plus, we’ll assess any previous dental work you’ve had to ensure any fillings or implants are still intact. If no oral issues present themselves, we’ll simply advise you of when to book your next appointment.

Should I register my children as patients separately?

Children should be registered with us separately, but we can offer family appointments.

Your patient journey

Consultation

Before you have any treatment with us, you’ll need a consultation in order for us to assess the work that needs to be done. This is also a chance for you to ask any questions.

Treatment

Treatment is often preceded by local anaesthetic, and sometimes sedation too. You’ll be in safe experienced hands, and know what to expect thanks to the consultation.

Aftercare

Following treatment, we’ll advise you of how to best look after your teeth and gums during the recovery period, until we next see you.
