    Tim qualified from Guy’s Hospital Dental School in 1984, and joined Southcot in 1985, and has been a partner since 1993. Tim enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, especially treating nervous patients, sometimes with intravenous sedation. Tim is married to Anne, who is a retired nurse. They have two married sons, and recently had their first grandson!

    Claire qualified in 1993 at Kings College, London with honours. Claire then went on to achieve her fellowship at the Royal College of Surgeons of England 2000 and her Diploma in postgraduate Dental Studies in 2012. She joined our team in 2012. Claire enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a keen interest in adult orthodontics (braces) using the Six Months Smiles System. Outside of work Claire is a member of the Maidstone Harriers and enjoys taking part in triathlons and open water swimming.

  • Pretash Patel

    Pretash qualified from the University of Manchester in 1999 and completed his Membership of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons in 2004. He joined the team at Southcot in 2020 and liked it so much he stayed. He likes nothing more than talking about Manchester and his beloved Manchester United. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is developing his skills in the field of implant dentistry. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and running and cycling with his two children.

  • Braham Durov

    Braham studied at the London Hospital Medical College Dental School for 5 years qualifying in 1980 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of London and a Licentiate in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Braham opened the Practice in 1983. Braham enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and regularly seeing his patients of many years. He is working on a part time basis as he heads towards retirement. He spends his free time with his wife and family and treasures the days he gets with his grandchildren.

    Dzhemal graduated as a dentist in 2013 and has attended many post graduate courses and seminars. Dzhemal has a special interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry and has also developed a strong interest in dental implants, teeth whitening and Invisalign (teeth alignment). Dzhemal has a very calm and friendly approach and likes to help anxious patients overcome their fear of dentistry. Dzhemal believes that patients should have an integral role in the planning of their treatment and always aims to offer a range of options to allow maximum choice. Dzhemal strives to always deliver his treatment in a friendly and relaxed way. In his spare time , Dzhemal enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends.

    Corinne joined Southcot in 1994. Corinne is our Practice Manager, first qualifying as a dental nurse with the National Certificate in Dental Nursing in 1996 with distinction. In 2013 she was successful in joining the Fitness to Practise Panel for the General Dental Council. Outside of work Corinne is interested in listening to live music and enjoys swimming, walking and gardening.

    Sarah joined the Southcot team in Spring 2020. She qualified from King’s College Hospital in 2014 as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist. Sarah is attentive and organised when it comes to her patient’s care. Her cheerful personality and ability to listen means she is great with anxious and nervous patients. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and walking their two dogs.

  • Julie Mann

    Julie’s dental career expands over 36 years and she first started training as a dental technician at Cardiff Heath Hospital. On completion of her course, she then joined the Royal Army Corps serving in several locations across Germany. It was during this time Julie developed an awareness of helping soldiers maintain good oral health,  working at Health Fairs and National Oral Health Strategies. This then encouraged Julie to complete the tri-service course in Dental Hygiene at the Military School of Training, Aldershot in 2002. After leaving the Army, Julie and her family moved to Kent after successfully completing the BSc (Hons) degree in Primary Dental Care at University of Kent. She works in several practices across the South East of Kent and delivers training courses for carers in residential homes. Julie specialises in helping people to give up smoking and is a smoking cessation advisor. She also has a keen interest in helping people through the method of hypnotherapy and relaxation.

    Sue joined the team in 2011 and works with us every other Saturday. She completed her training as a Hygienist in Cork in 2009. Sue enjoys helping a diverse range of patients to improve their oral health.

  • Nina Older

    I qualified in 2007 from the university of Manchester with an honours degree. I work here on a Tuesday and really enjoy preventative care and the management of periodontal problems. I believe in educating my patients so they can care for their mouths in the best way possible at home therefore helping to minimise interventions needed within the surgery. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and looking after my nephew. I also enjoy catching up with friends for dinner.

  • Karen Jeffery

    Karen began Dental Nursing in 1987 and has been here at Southcot since 1995. Karen, a qualified dental nurse, is our Cross Infection Control Lead, and our nursing team co-ordinator; working closely with Corinne to ensure the smooth running of the practice. Karen enjoys all aspects of dental nursing and loves the variety of the work. Karen enjoys a busy social life which is centred on her family and children.

  • Tracy Muller

    Tracy has worked at Southcot since 2009. Tracy qualified as a dental nurse in March 2010. She enjoys all aspects of dental nursing and the variety of the work. In her spare time Tracy loves to cook, spending time with her grandchildren and also enjoys being outdoors either walking with her husband or in the garden.

  • Sharon Richards

    Sharon joined Southcot in 1998, after qualifying with the National Certificate in Dental Nursing in 1997 Sharon took her Certificate in Conscious Sedation in 1999 and now assists Tim in our regular Sedation clinics. Sharon is also a qualified Oral Health Educator, and can give advice on many aspects of oral health. Sharon enjoys helping really nervous patients and children in the practice. Outside of work Sharon spends time with her children and friends and loves going to the Theatre and being outdoors, either gardening or hiking.

  • Danielle Hornett

    Dental nurse


    Danielle completed her Dental Nursing qualifications and training at Southcot in 2010. Since then she has gone on to further her education with a Foundation Degree in Advanced Dental Nursing and achieved her Oral Heath Education certificate and recently gained her radiography qualification. In her spare time Danielle is kept busy with her son and pets.

  • Siobhan Brown

    Siobhan has worked at Southcot since September 2020. Siobhan qualified as a Dental nurse in 2010. In 2014 She qualified from Kings with her certificate in Implant Dental Nursing. She thoroughly enjoys putting this into practice along with everyday surgical procedures and many other aspects of general dental nursing. In her spare time Siobhan enjoys spending time with her young family, enjoying long walks and days by the beach.

    I started training as an apprentice dental nurse in March 2021 at Southcot dental care and have thoroughly enjoyed it since I started. Everyone is so welcoming and helpful. I wanted to train as a dental nurse because it is a great qualification that involves a range of different skills and knowledge. I gained my qualification in the new year 2023. In my spare time I enjoy reading and exercising.

    Sarita started working here at Southcot in August 2023. She is a part-time dental nurse who has 3 sons and a husband at home who keep her on her toes! With her warm, friendly personality and her dentistry knowledge,  we know she will make a very welcome addition to our team.

  • Kara Yeomans

    Kara is our locum dental nurse and helps us on Mondays and Fridays when we are short staffed. After qualifying with the National Certificate in Dental Nursing in 1992 she furthered her studies to become certified in Dental Radiography in 1994 and Orthodontic nursing in 2004. In her spare time she enjoys long walks, preferably on a warm beach, loves travelling and good food and wine. She enjoys nights out dancing, and does her best to keep fit by running.

  • Holly Morrison

    Receptionist


    Holly started at Southcot as a receptionist in November 2020. Since then she has gained a wealth of knowledge in her reception role and continues to enjoy learning about dentistry. Holly mostly enjoys getting to know the patients and thrives on the busy surgery environment. Holly has a little boy who keeps her very busy in her spare time.

  • Suzette Budd

    Suzette started at Southcot as a receptionist in January 2021. Suzette thoroughly enjoys her job as a receptionist and has also learnt the role of decon nurse to help support the nursing team. Suzette enjoys meeting and greeting the patients and loves to get to know them better. In her spare time, Suzette volunteers with some local charities, enjoys reading and is a fan of Starsky and Hutch (the programme NOT the film!).
