Generations of families have been visiting Southcot Dental since it was established in 1983 and we pride ourselves on being well known and well regarded in the area. There’s a real community spirit at Southcot Dental - our loyal team lives locally and we love the fact that many of our patients are our neighbours.

Braham studied at the London Hospital Medical College Dental School for 5 years qualifying in 1980 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of London and a Licentiate in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Braham opened the Practice in 1983. Braham enjoys all aspects of general dentistry with an interest in facial aesthetics. He spends his free time with his family and in particular with his grandson born in March 2016.
Tim qualified from Guy’s Hospital Dental School in 1984, and joined Southcot in 1985, he has been a Partner since 1993. Tim enjoys all aspects of Dentistry but especially treating nervous patients, sometimes with intravenous sedation. Tim is married to Anne, who is a registered nurse. They have two grown up children.
Claire qualified in 1993 at Kings College, London with honours. Claire then went on to achieve her fellowship at the Royal College of Surgeons of England 2000 and her Diploma in postgraduate Dental Studies in 2012. She joined our team in 2012. Claire enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a keen interest in adult orthodontics (braces) using the Six Months Smiles System. Outside of work Claire is a member of the Maidstone Harriers and competes in Triathlons.
Christina qualified from Leeds Dental Institute in 2013. Following graduation, she went on to complete her Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons and is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons.
Christina has gained a variety of experiences including providing general dental care in and around London and South Yorkshire. She held a Senior House Officer position in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department in Rotherham General Hospital and currently works part-time with the Community Dental Services - where she thoroughly enjoys working with children and adults with additional needs. Christina is also certified in advanced Botulinum Toxin and dermal filler therapy.
Outside of work, Christina loves to take her dog, Tonto for walks. In her spare time she paints with watercolours and spends time in the kitchen. Christina enjoys scuba diving and would love to hear of any lush places you’ve dived and would recommend.
Trudy originally joined Southcot in 1990 qualifying as a Dental Nurse. She then re-joined the team in 2002 after qualifying from Kings College Hospital in 1996 as a Dental Hygienist. Trudy works with us on Thursdays and Fridays and very much enjoys treating her regular patients. She is married with two teenage daughters. In her spare time she plays korfball and netball.
Nichola joined Southcot in 2009. Nichola is dually-qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist from Bart’s and St Mary’s, The Royal London Hospital in 2006. Her interests lie in preventative care and periodontal maintenance, and she has great experience in treating anxious and nervous patients.
Sue joined the team in 2011 and works with us every other Saturday. She completed her training as a Hygienist in Cork in 2009. Sue enjoys helping a diverse range of patients to improve their oral health.
Charlotte graduated from the University of Portsmouth Dental Academy with a First class honours degree in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy. Charlotte has a keen interest in periodontal treatment and structuring tailored care plans to her patients. Charlotte strives to ensure that patients receive the best care possible and all treatment is thoroughly explained from start to finish. In her spare time she enjoys dog walks and spending time with the family.
Susan joined the SouthCot dental team in 2018 after completing her degree in dental hygiene and therapy at Teesside university in 2014.
She enjoys her role as a Hygienist as it allows her to provide exceptional oral care to those she comes in contact with. She takes pride in her work and always strives to give patients a thorough experience where they leave with the knowledge to take care of their oral health at home and the relevamt care methods to suit their needs. She wants to develop further in her chosen field and looks forward to gaining more experience in treating patients with implants. Susan is also very interested in dental cosmetics as she plans to undertake teeth whitening training and facial aesthetics in the furture.
In her spare time Susan enjoys travelling, spending time with her husband/ family and reading.
Corinne joined Southcot in 1994. Corinne is our Practice Manager, first qualifying as a dental nurse with the National Certificate in Dental Nursing in 1996 with distinction. In 2013 she was successful in joining the Fitness to Practise Panel for the General Dental Council. Outside of work Corinne is interested in listening to live music, especially her partner’s bands and enjoys swimming and walking.
Karen began Dental Nursing in 1987 and has been here at Southcot since 1995. Karen, a qualified dental nurse, is our Cross Infection Control Lead, and our nursing team co-ordinator; working closely with Corinne and Wendy to ensure the smooth running of the practice. Karen enjoys all aspects of dental nursing and loves the variety of the work. Karen enjoys a busy social life which is centred on her family and children.
Becky has worked at Southcot since 2012. Becky qualified as a dental nurse in 1995 at Kings College Hospital and achieved her National Certificate in Dental Nursing in 1994. Since qualifying Becky has furthered her studies to be certified in Intravenous Sedation. Becky maintains Cross Infection Control in Karen’s absence. Becky is mum to three children who keep her very busy!
Sharon joined Southcot in 1998, after qualifying with the National Certificate in Dental Nursing in 1997 Sharon took her Certificate in Conscious Sedation in 1999 and now assists Tim in our regular Sedation clinics. Sharon enjoys helping really nervous patients and children in the practice. Outside of work Sharon spends time with her two children and loves to be out hiking.
Tracy has worked at Southcot since 2009. Tracy qualified as a dental nurse in March 2010. She enjoys organising the patient forums that are held yearly at the practice. She enjoys all aspects of dental nursing and the variety of the work. In her spare time Tracy enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and walking her Dalmatian dogs.
Clare joined Southcot in 2012 with a variety of experience elsewhere in dentistry. After qualifying with the National Certificate in Dental Nursing in 1998 she furthered her studies to become certified in Dental Radiography in 2002. Clare is very good with nervous patients. Outside of work Clare is a busy mum of three.
Tracey started working for Southcot in 2006. Tracey became a qualified dental nurse in 2007 after achieving her NVQ in dental Nursing. Tracey enjoys the variety of dental nursing and takes an active role in co-ordinating the practice audits. Out of work, Tracey enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
Anne joined the practice in 2018 and started Dental nursing in 1990. She gained her Guys and National qualifications in 1992 and 1993. Anne has an additional qualification in Special care Dentistry that she achieved in 2009. In her spare time, Anne enjoys spending time with her family and 2 dogs.
Wendy is our Receptionist Team co-ordinator and works closely with Corinne and Karen to ensure the smooth running of the practice. Wendy started at Southcot in 1994. In 2000 Wendy was awarded her BTEC in Dental Reception. Wendy is well known to the patients and enjoys the day to day interaction with them. She enjoys the variety of work that is found on a busy reception desk. Wendy is a proud grandparent and enjoys spending time with her family.
Barbara has been our dedicated Receptionist since 2004. In 2010 Barbara achieved her National Vocational Qualification in Customer Service. Barbara enjoys meeting and greeting the patients and is well known at the practice by our regular patients. Barbara enjoys spending her spare time with her family.
